As the topic title states, just wondering if it will actually ever work for vista 64...

The 20days or so has turned into almost 2months now, and the testing i was told would take a week has ended being over 21 days.
"we are proud to say that the code has been sucessfully implemented! The new version should come out next week ^^" was said on the 23rd...

I'm normally calm and patient, but I'm just a little annoyed of the lack of waiting with no real feedback.
To be fair the feedback was great at the beginning to all my questions and gave and ETA on the solution. But now I'm waiting with only the response of: "Its not ready" and no time-scale (even if rough) to how long i need to wait.

I apologise if I sound impatient, but since paying for this item i havent had a chance to use it XD

Thank you for your support.

Ah so it doesnt work for Windows 64 bit then, this Avnex Vad program? And I've been
racking my brain to get it to work with Ventrilo dry.gif

Anyways I have tried the following to no avail, in the case you guys plan to release it soon =3

1. Because Vista does not take unsigned devices, I am forced to run Elevated cmd with the following to
make Vista 64 bit accept it:

1. Open an elevated CMD prompt (hit Start, type CMD in the search box, and then press Ctrl-Shift-Enter to run CMD as an admin).
2. Type: bcdedit /set loadoptions DDISABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS
(Note: That’s DDISABLE — with two Ds — for “Driver Disable.”)

3. After this is done, reboot the computer and then install VCS7 and VAD as you normally would.

4. Now try running VC7 and enable the VAD feature

5. Run a program (i.e. Ventrilo) and notice it does not recognize it!

6. Goto control panel, open up add hardware, highlight and find AVNEX LTD Virtual Audio Driver, and attempt installation

So yeah, will not run, and eagerly await the fix so VAD works in Vista 64 bit and within Ventrilo

Well, no matter how big and red you are writing this, if you don't send the software I still cannot use it. I wrote an email to the support address almost a week ago and still no reply whatsoever...

Hello...

I bought Voice Changer Diamond 7 late last year. Shortly after I had to replace my Computer. I have Windows 7. In late December, customer service told me the update for the software should be in the first part of the year. Its now mid April.

I have just wriiten again. This makes 3 emails without reply.

Anyway...... when will Diamond be updated for the 64 bit Windows 7 ???

Respectfully, but somewhat perturbed,

Tom McDiermon
