Death by Sucide

So a while ago I wrote a story called my awakening for a vampire contest, and well I've decided to continue with it. So incase you haven't read my awakening you might want to now because this is the next part.

Flick of the razor,

Slit of the wrist,

Searching for hope,

But with a sick twist.

I read the four lines over and over again, to the point that I was no longer reading but just staring straight through the white parchment paper. A sick twist didn’t explain sh*t I thought, and snorted aloud.

“Are you finished reading?” Alec asked his voice indifferent, as he hung over my shoulder like a student trying to cheat off of anothers test. I shook my head, not bothering to face him and continued to read it.

Death was to become of me.

But it didn’t

Fuck it at least I’ve become free.

I choked as I struggled not to burst out into laughter at the last line. This was after all Alec’s poem, and although he wasn’t the most emotional of creatures I knew this poem meant a lot to him. But as if he was reading my thoughts, he let out a grunt and snatched the parchment out of my hands, and in a flash he was sprawled out on Louis XVI sofa his silk robe barely covering his alabaster skin, as he glared at me with dull teal eyes.

“I’m sor-“ I began but he immediately cut me off.

“Does this surprise you?” He asked his face painfully emotionless.

“Surprise me?” I echoed off his words, and he raised his eyebrow, as he sat back up.

“Yes surprise you, that I could actually write something that expresses my feelings.” He drawled and in a flash he was back at my side, his face only a mere inch from my own. Slowly I closed my eyes, and inhaled the intoxicating smell that seemed to radiate off of him. It had been a mere century now and still I was unable to decipher just to what was in that smell.

“It doesn’t surprise me.” I murmured, as I felt his lips trace the scar that would never quite heal on my neck.

“Do you like it?” he asked between kisses.

“I don’t understand it to be honest.” I admitted, and as if I had popped his bubble Alec moved away from me again. Pursing his lips, he sighed.

“I suppose you wouldn’t understand it.” He smirked, and we locked eyes. “Do you remember the first time we met
